Good afternoon everyone,
I hope you are all keeping well?
Today on the blog I am taking part in the Ink.Stamp.Share Special Blog hop, this blog hop is themed to show what we have been working on in the last few weeks.
I am currently preparing display items for a Crafternoon Tea I shall be running at the beginning of October (yes for once being ultra prepared!) with a fellow Demonstrator Carla Low.
We together run The Crafty Affair all day classes where we make beautiful projects for the home, for more information please click here.
For the class display we make various cards and 3D items to inspire our class attendees with items they can then make with their remaining items in their kits after completing their home decor piece.
We have an option or Halloween Theme or Autumn, the participants are asked to pick a word they associate with each theme they chose and then the decorate using various techniques demonstrated by us as they wish.
Here is what I have been making for the Autumn display:
Here is a slimline card, I have made using the Gilded Autumn DSP, this is beautiful as has metallic accents running through it and some beautiful colours and designs.
Onto Very Vanilla cardstock I flicked Cajun Craze and Early Espresso ink onto the base card using the Stamp and Write Marker pens.
I then cut letters in Early Espresso using the Playful Alphabet dies and glued these down with Multipurpose liquid glue.
Onto Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the leaves, acorn and pinecone images in Early Espresso, colouring these in with Mint Macaron, Cajun Crazy and Crumb cake blends. I cut these and some of the metallic images from the DSP out using the Autumn punches and fussy cut the pinecones. All of these were then adhered onto the card using the mini dimensionals to add a 3D effect.
I then made a pyramid card using all sentiments from the stamp set on each side. I wanted to show our class participants the variations of DSP and Stamp set sentiments included in their kits.
I then added excess punched out items I had from previous card and made some paper roses with scrap DSP.
So these shall be added to other items on our display on the day, along with previous Halloween items you have seen for the attendees who have chosen that theme. I shall ensure I have taken some pictures and will add to the blog.
And these are the Home Decor pieces the class attendees shall make at the Crafternoon Tea on the day:

Hi Kirsty. Can you share where you purchased the letters in your home decor projects for your Crafternoon Tea? Letter size and fonts? Love these projects!
Hi There! They are from a UK website called Laser Craft Shapes and the Font is their Victorian style. Sizing of the letters is 15cm so 6 inches tall.
