Good afternoon,
And welcome to my second Crafty Challenge Blog hop. This theme is Water.
I love all things about Water, my favourite place to go and escape is the beach, the sound of the waves and the smell of the sea air is just wonderful to me, and due to the UK’s current lockdown, I haven’t been in over a year!
You may have joined me from Angie McKenzie, didn’t you love her project? We were given the task to use these colour and be inspired to add these to our project:
I came up with this idea
Using Blends, I colored in sections of Vellum and then spritzed or dropped Rubbing Alcohol onto the ink and moved blowing though a straw, I did this section by section, drying with a heat tool to get a water effect.
Then using the Sailing Home stamps I stamped my images and sentiment in the Ink colours and cut out using the Smooth sailing Dies.
I adhered these to the vellum for the finished look, the added to my card layers.
Thank you for stopping by today, I do hope you can join me again for another blog hop! Please see list of participants for this blog hop, join Karen Egan as the post after mine and please visit all participants pages and send some love in the comments!
