Good Afternoon,
Thank you for joining me today, you may be starting your journey with me here or have arrived from Annette’s page, how lovely was her project?
Welcome to this month’s Ink.Stamp.Share blog hop, today’s theme is Men.
I think personally, for me this is one of the harder range of cards to make, but one always wanted by my ladies is class, as we all have important men in our lives, one way or another!
So I absolutely love the Mountain Ar photopolymer stamp set, it is a amazing versatile stamp set as it is reversible!
After I picked this stamp set I decided on my colour scheme as a had a vision in mind:
In the stamp set, of the stamps provide a detailed image and then a background image you use as a shadow or to colour in the stamp. This is perfect for layering to create a scene.
I find it hard just to stamp a card and walk away, without adding texture of extra layers, embellishments or ribbon, but I really wanted to show you what this set can do just by stamping.
Here is my card design….
I made this card by using using First, Second and Third Generation stamping:
- First Generation – Ink the stamp and stamp directly onto the cardstock
- Second Generation – Ink the stamp, stamp the image onto a scrap piece of paper once then stamp onto your cardstock, giving a light effect.
- Third Generation – Ink the stamp, stamp the image onto a scrap piece of paper twice, then stamp onto your cardstock, giving a lighter effect.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I am now going to pass you onto Deb who I am sure has something beautiful to show you, please visit all blogs in the hop and leave the ladies a lovely comment!
