Good Afternoon,
Thank you for joining me today on the Ink.Stamp.Share blog hop, I do hope you are well!
I cannot believe I have not posted anything on my blog since September….
I have been Crafting, holding my monthly card classes and The Crafty Affair Crafternoon Teas have been keeping me busy also, we had two dates booked for Christmas Crafternoon Tea and our last one is tomorrow, I shall add a blog post to show you what we made!
So getting back to this blog hop!
We were tasked with making a Christmas tree decoration, I have been working on my December monthly class project and I decided to use what set I already has on my desk, with some of the suite elements add.
Here is what I made:
To make this Decorations I used the third from Largest Stitched Rectangle Die and cut out my rectangle with Blushing Bride Cardstock, I then cut some Polished Pink cardstock measuring 10.3cm x 6.8cm and the Blushing Bride snowflake DSP from the Whimsy & Wonder collection measuring 9.6cm x 6cm.
I glued these elements together and then ran this through the cutting machine with the Cloche shaped Die from the Cloche Dies set, I then popped the cut out piece over the piece still to cut and drew a light pencil line around the edge to act as a guide when cutting the second piece so it all matched up.
Using offcuts of the Polished Pink, Blushing Bride, Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow and the outer edges of the Iridescent Wonderful Snowflakes I cut the tree elements using the Christmas Trees dies and then decided to make the confetti using the same cardstocks by cutting out the small stars and baubles from the die set.
I measure the heights of the trees by placing inside the domes and cutting off excess then glued all the elements together, once dried I glued against the bottom of the shaker domes and add the confetti then pieced all elements together.
Adding final touches of the Wonderful Snowflake to the tops and bottoms and snipping off the excess and then using a hole punch, I made a hole and attached the Blushing Bride Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon.
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed the project and now I shall pass you onto Jill to see her beautiful make, click on the next button below to be directed to her blog.
