Thank you for joining me today, I hope you are all safe and well.
I wanted to share with you today the recent The Crafty Affair Crafternoon Tea.
The Crafty Affair is a collaboration between myself and Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Carla Low, we met through the love of Crafting and decided we wanted to run all day classes providing Stampin Up products and to show class attendees various techniques to create Home decor pieces.
After our friend Kim expressed interest in setting up a baking from home business we decided to collaborate further in asking her to cater our themed Afternoon Teas for people to have at our classes, and our Crafty Affair Crafternoon Teas were born.
Back in October we held a Halloween themed class and on 22nd and 29th November we held our Christmas Crafternoon Tea.
We decided we wanted to decorate a wooden advent calendar of our class and designed these to share with our ladies:
Due to COVID-19 restrictions here in the UK, we had to hold our classes virtually rather than in person, we made this work by adding our ladies to Zoom Calls, to answer any questions and demonstrate how we did certain techniques by video call, ensuring we had a comprehensive set of instructions for class and answering any further queries through our Facebook Page.
We delivered our kits and Afternoon teas the morning of our classes following social distance guidelines….
Kim made variations of our Crafternoon Teas to cover all dietary needs:
From Vegetarian with Cheese Straws
To Gluten Free
To Standard with Sausage Roll, White Chocolate and Raspberry Cookie, Christmas tree Brownie, Vanilla Snowflake Cupcake and of course plain and Fruit Scones!
It was also so great to make little touches to add into the kits also, these are things we would have done in person on the day of class but also nice surprises to find in the bags, we made Wooden tags for the kits which can double as a personalised decoration and Candy Cane Reindeers and popped some chocolates in a plastic bauble for a sweet treat which then doubled as a mini project in instructions.
Within the Instructions for class we also added some projects to make with excess Cardstock and Designer Series paper left over from the Advent Calendar.
Instructions for the above and how to decorate the Advent Calendar can be found here.
I hope you have fun recreating the projects!

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope to see you again soon!
I would love to receive feedback on my projects, so if you like what I have made please leave me a comment, it is very much appreciated.
