Today I have a card to show you that I have made using the  Dragonfly Garden stamp set at the coordinating punch from Stampin’ Up!

I decided to stick with the suite colours and picked these five to work with….

I wanted to try and create a dusk evening, where the sun has just gone down and the stars are just coming out in the sky…

 

 

The background is made using the Stampin’ Up! Fluid 100 watercolour paper, I heat embossed the images with Gold embossing powder and then washed this with Misty Moonlight ink, layering this with the Water Painters as I wanted to give an ombre effect.

I then coloured the top of the Wild daisies with Bumblebee and the Whisper White inks and added Mossy Meadow for the stems.

I think the pop of colours from the card layers and the dragonfly with the Bumblebee, Calypso Coral and Rich Razzleberry really work against the Misty Moonlight background.

I finished the card by splatting Shimmer paint in Champagne Mist to add the stars.
