Good Afternoon, thank you for coming to me from Jo’s blog or starting your blog hop journey with me.
Today I have a great Monthly blog to show you, a Colour Challenge! We had to make a card using minimum three of the below colours:
I decided to use the beautiful Arrange a Wreath bundle, this is the first time I used it and I think this shall be a set I use often!
So here is my design:
As you can see I managed to use all of the colours in this card. I have mainly used the dies from this bundle, cutting each element in a different colour, edging in the coordinating ink and adhering together to form the wreath.
For the background I cut the base layers at:
- Card Base 10.5cm and score at 14.85cm
- Gorgeous Grape 10cm x 14.35cm
- Merry Merlot 13.4cm x 9.5cm
- Very Vanilla 9cm x 13cm
On the Very Vanilla cardstock, I used my Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Marker to flick ink across the cardstock, I then did the same with some versamark and a paintbrush, then heat embossed with gold embossing powder for a metallic hint, I then edged the card stock in Melon Mambo ink.
I adhered the finished wreath to the card layers with dimensionals then placed the Very Vanilla heart in the centre, I saw I still had the cut out letters so decided to colour these in with blends and place back into the letters.
Final touch had to be a bit of sparkle from the fabulous Wink of Stella!
Thank you for stopping by today, I am now going to pass you on to Sue who I am sure has something wonderful to show you.
